about to buy a FactoryPro ignition advancer and just want to know how difficult the installation is. thanks

 

simple....right side engine cover comes off, the signal rotor is mounted to the end of the crank. Getting the bolf off is the hardest part...put your wrench or ratchet on it, and what it with a hammer (the wrench, not the bolt). Its normal thread.

Not sure if the advancer comes with a gasket or not....it should for the price. But, you might want a little tube of RTV to put on the split line of the cases.

RTV - a sealant/gasket material....comes in small tubes...like a travel toothepaste tube.
