I seem to have acquired 2 cbr`s!
Hi to all,
Its been a few weeks since I joined the forum and plans have changed somewhat as the CBR was originally bought for my son, we have since found out that the bike was an insurance write off back in 1998 which was`nt the end of the world as it was a class `c` which in the UK can be put back on the road, however the bodywork was to say the least in need of a respray and also quite alot of plastic welding was needed to cracks and broken fixings.

I have started stripping the bodywork off and have found a few other minor things that would need sorting out but would probably cost a few pounds to do so I have decided to buy the bike off my son and use it as a spares bike for this..
So in the space of a few weeks I have aquired two CBR`S!! Time to get the spanners out!
The original one is a `98 with 28k miles on the clock, the engine is fine and has a lot of good bits on it, the new one is a `97 model with 22k miles on the clock, got loads of paperwork with it , the bodywork is in really good nick too, it just needs a few minor things sorting and it will be a great bike!
I will post some more pictures when I start working on it.
Regards,
Andy.
