i have been directed to you pros...
Just bought my 95' cbr 600 yesterday used. 25k m. Its sitting there now and it turns over but it will not start.
What to do?
What to do?
it hasnt been sitting much. The bike was riding just fine a couple days ago.
It shut off when i hit second gear it was sputtering then i was making a uturn and it stoped. I had to walk it home.
I bled it out through those two little valves under the fron of the tank so i think it is getting fuel.I have checked most electric but i am not sure how to get to the plugs. I replaced the main fuse in that regulator that goes from the positive battery cable. Do i have to remove the tank and the freaking air filter and the carb barrel case in order to get to the plugs? Thats alot of work just to get to a plug. Then what ? I fire it up and see if the contacts are functional?
It seems to me to be the air/fuel ratio but i have no idea how to adjust that.

No need to take the whole bike apart to get to the plugs.
If you have original fairings, there should be inspection windows you can take off.
Make your hands as small as possible, and reach in there for the plugs.
You'll reach the three on the left from the left side, and the last one on the right.
You'll need the plug tool and a (10mm?) wrench to unscrew the plugs.
My plug wires tend to set to the plugs, but with a little wiggle they'll come off.
