Ok so hi first of all..

I bought 96 F3, back in april. And other than dropping the first week because of some idiot in a car, i havent had any problems.
I have been told however that my chain is to lose, so asked a few people and finally talked to someone who i believe knew what they were talking about. so i tightened it per their instructions, and now my bike wont even turn on, i thought maybe it was a safty measure because i had it on a jack or something but, im not getting any light on the dash or the headlight and i cant clutch start it either. Im just wondering if theres a switch or something that keeps the bike from being started if the wheel isnt straight or something. Im really confused cuz it ran perfectly right before i tightened it!

 

cant see how doin the bike on a stand would do anything unless u pinched the kickstand wire...anyway, look for the 30 amp fuse...same thing happened to me on my RC and took me a while to find it...was mounted on the side of the rear subframe.

Deff an electrical problem. Although I can't see how you could've messed up anything by tightening your chain to be honest. Start checking fuses, wires, etc...

 

Ok so i figured it out...It was my craptacular battery...it musta been really dead because i couldnt even clutch start the thing...thanks for all the help guys.
