hey everybody, i am changing my oil and i am not sure how many quarts of oil to put in the bike? Please advise

 

3.9 US Qts with a filter change. Purchase by the gallon is more cost effective.

i usually get 4 quarts...end up with about a half a quart left o.ver after shes full. They dont sell gallons of the oil i get wh.ere i get it..oh darn

god i hope youve been using 4 stroke oil!! I run 10w-40 full synthetic..usually just high end car oil

 

Make sure it's for a wet clutch system! Don't just us.e automotive oil, our clutches work in the engine oil so you need to getoil to match with out all the detergents and additives to **** up the clutch. Not sure wher.e your going to get the oil, but just ask if you can't find a difference.

Check your oil level with the bike upright, not leaned over on the kickstand.
