hey everybody, i am changing my oil and i am not sure how many quarts of oil to put in the bike? Please advise

3.9 US Qts with a filter change. Purchase by the gallon is more cost effective.

i usually get 4 quarts...end up with about a half a quart left o.ver after shes full. They dont sell gallons of the oil i get wh.ere i get it..oh darn:D

god i hope youve been using 4 stroke oil!! I run 10w-40 full synthetic..usually just high end car oil

Make sure it's for a wet clutch system! Don't just us.e automotive oil, our clutches work in the engine oil so you need to getoil to match with out all the detergents and additives to piss up the clutch. Not sure wher.e your going to get the oil, but just ask if you can't find a difference.

Check your oil level with the bike upright, not leaned over on the kickstand.
