How do I adjust my brake pedal?

I've always just delt with it but I have to totally take my foot off the peg to hit the lever. Not so safe. Thanks for any help!

Yeah. It's way above my foot when I'm on the pegs. Shouldn't I be able to just lower my toe a little to hit the brake instead of taking my whole foot of the the peg?

From memory I thinks its a 10mm knut, but you turn the knut to adjust the lever up or down. You may need to adjust your rear brake light switch after you have done it. The knut sits just under the rubber boot.
