The hose is extra from what my other bike had, CA Type? HELP
I looked at the cylinder heads I had lying around the garage and neither of them have the third hose in between the two coolant hoses that normally come off the head. Mine has an extra one right next to the left of cylinder 3's intake. I am wondering if this is a California Type engine and if I should block that line off or what I am supposed to do with it. The bike started right up way quicker than with the old engine, however it shoots water out of that line, which clearly has no place to go on my 49 state bike, not sure how a Cali engine got over here anyways. If you could help I would really appreciate it.
It will be obvious how? Like it will overheat or something, like how would I know once I plugged that line and ran it if it was good or not? Not sure how I can see if I have pressure or not, I know how to turn a wrench well, but my troubleshooting skills are horrendous.
It will be obvious because water will be coming out all over the place. As it runs, it will build pressure. It can't get pressure with a hole in the system.
