i'm not for sure as i have never had to replace one and the manual does not specify one as the headlight relay. gimme a minute and i will hook up a headlight to mine and disconnect the relays to see which one it is. i had thought that the flasher and headlight relay were the same for some reason.

its working again! I checked the solder connections as i had had that problem before on an older bike but that wasnt it. I played around with the connections in the right handle bar switch and got power again not sure what it was. i was checking for where i had power and where i didnt then i poked the headlight connection in there and the high beam light came on it had been not working either now it all works.

thanks to everyone for the help

The starter switch is what provides power to the High/Low beam switch, then to the headlight. As a general rule, if only one of the lights is out, then either the bulb, or High/Low switch. If both are out, then the Starter Switch or fuse, or possibly wiring.
