@dyracuse - I saw a picture on another thread, I'll post it if i can find it, of a newer F3 with the trunk pan. He did say it was mounted higher though, so i would expect it to be lower than in the pic. You might still have it stick out a little, but with slight modification you could probably keep it hidden.

also note he pointed out that the solenoids get dirty and sticky, im going to make a nice splash guard to try and keep crap awayfrom them.

@asides - same as if you didn't have the trunk kit. Take sides off and then push solenoid rods through holes while lifting up. solenoids are spring loaded and easy to push in and out.

Thanks for the vid. What if you were able to get stronger soleniods in place of the ones that come with the kit? That should fix the issue wouldn't it?
