Default Gasket Sealer

I'm putitng my carbs back together and at the top of the carbs under the air funnels is a small gasket. When I took the parts off the gaskets just kind of dropped out. When I put this back together, should I use some kind of gasket sealer on the gaslets when I put it back? Maybe an elementary question, but I just want to do it right.

thanks in advance...

If the gasket is still in good shape I would just put it back in. Most of them in carbs are o-rings that can be reused. Either put the old one back in or buy a new one... u will have to make that choice depending on its shape.

Thanks...the gaskets..or should I say o-ring's look fine. I was probably using the wrong term. I don't believe I need to buy new ones since they look fine.
I was just concerned about possibly putting something on them before putting back...thanks again.
