Fuel problem
I was an idiot and dropped my bike when there was sand on the road. Fixed almost everything. Problem is I had it on reserve to go get some fuel for it when it kicked out from under me. Successfully replaced shifting pedal, shifting rod, left handlebar weight, and water pump cap. Now when I have it in neutral and just idle it runs. However this is with the fuel switch in OFF position. I' got a lot of issues/repairs done thanks to this sight I hope I can get this last issue resolved. It is a 1996 CBR600f3.
That would be correct, but upon tracking some people down I have since found out that it,s not an automatic engine shut off, especially when idling. It takes it a short amount of time before it pulls the remaining fuel out of the lines, carbs and such. So everything is back to the way it should be. Now if only I can keep the wheels down and the shiny side up.
