Front fork polish or paint?
Hi guys.
Just got the front forks out of my race bike and peeled away the clear film that was installed over the old rough paint job.
The paint all but came away with the film.
Im in two minds to either leave the forks as they are or have them re-painted or even powder coated.
What do you think it the best solution. Do they need paint or powder coat for any reason other than asthetics? ie will paint or powder coat provide any necessary protection from stone chips or things or am I ok to leave them as they are and just polish them up?

RE: Front fork finish
Nothing will stop the stone chips..
Powder coating will look better ..
I think just polishing them actually is better to hide the marks that will inevitably happen again?
After you paint , coat or polish...Lower fork leg guards are not too bad if you get the good ones...
