Unhappy Front fairing stay bracket

Okay, I am new to this forum and to the sport bike community as well. My first bike which I just bought is a 1995 Honda CBR 600 F3. It has been laid over and probably at least a dozen times. I have found many parts for my bike on eBay and amazon but am I being too conservative thinking that the front fairing stay bracket isn't worth over $100?? I can't find one for cheaper than that and its just a simple bracket. Anyone have one or know where I should look.

No, you're right. Given what it is, some metal tubing and a few welds it's hard to say that it's worth $160. The least I found it for was $132 including shipping. I just replaced one on my wifes bike yesterday. I know what you're going through. They start at $50 on ebay, but quickly go up from bidding from there.

yeah, I had to cave and get a new OEM one for a little more money than I wanted to dish out ($245).
I think it was the only part I couldn't get a deal on when I built my bike.

The one I took of my wifes F3, the purple one was not that bad. In fact it's on her bike in my SIG picture. The problem was that she has the ASV Clutch levers (small hands). They stick out further forward than the factory ones do. At full right lock, the clutch lever would touch the guage cluster and it was scratching the ring around the Speedometer. If she had the stock levers on it, it wouldn't have been an issue.
