Default front brake question

Just brought my new bike home. 95 cbr f3. Was looking it over and noticed that the front brake calipers move some front to back. The bracket off the forks is tight. Is this usual?

Thanks

Default RE: front brake question

are you saying your caliper moves in and out when your bike is moving?

...if this is the case your rotor has a slight bend in it....my bike had the same problem...and my caliper kept moving in and out everyime that part of the rotor went through the brake pads.

...the slighest bend in the rotor can cause this

not in and out but like it twists on the bracket. I can take my hand and move it like im turning a dial on the radio.

sounds like you're missing a bolt, there's two that should be in there

its not alot of movement like maybe 5 degrees max. I will check both bolts but they appear tight.
