I know I read somewhere the anti rattle clip thing that are in the calipers could be removed alltogether with no ill effects. It holds dust and heat and removal is advised. Any thoughts from you track gurus. My bike is track only.

 

My clips are all gone, I think so anyway, and I haven't noticed anything.
