Fourth gear
Hi!
When I'm shifting into fourth and opening up the throttle I notice that the bike (1998) holds back a bit. I'll open up fully and the bike takes a few seconds before anything happens. Only in fourth gear between 2,5 and 3,500rpm, after that it picks up like normal and all the other gears don't behave like this. I know it's a 600cc bike, but my previous F3 didn't do this. Ofcourse it 'dipped' a bit between 2,5 and 3k rpm but didn't hold back like my current bike does. What might be the issue here? Maybe syncing the carbs?
What I'm going to do anyway is servicing. New oil, sparkplugs, new filters and I wanted to look at the balance in the carbs. The bike has nearly 30k kilometres on the clock so I don't expect a clutch issue but what do you think?
Greets!
