how hard is it to replace front fork seals on my own i have 1997 f3
any help would be appreciated

It is pretty easy, do a search. I recommend that you have a friend(mate) to help you with removal and installing, plus a motorcycle jack. It is easy to replace the seals, just needs confidence, parts and fork fluids.

 

The process is outlined step by step in the factory shop manual.

 

take your time and be careful i know someone who took the adjusters off the top put it back on and destroyed the thread i believe he blamed it on something to do with the ball bearing i blame him rushed and not being careful. im not that stupid used a haynes manual and some common sense theres loads of info out there.
