"white plastic thing" is prolly the fuel filter if it's inline between the tank and the pump. Changing it out won't hurt. It can also clog with varnish if the bike sat for a while with gas in it.

Will they have the fuel filter in advanced auto parts or autozone? Or do i have to order it online

If its just an inline gas filter, yeah you can get a new one for cheap from there or even walmart.

Like i said, take the fuel line off your carbs, put the end into a empty water bottle or something, and turn the key on, if fuel comes out when the fuel pump runs and doesn't just dribble, then you should be okay.

never thought about that.. ill try as soon as i get back home, boston right now lol booooo.. but ill be sure to pick one up from walmart? where would that be? automotive or like gardening? haha

is it a fuel filter for a 1/4 hose? what kinda hose?

Don't remember the inlet size but it'll be in metric. Got one from pep boys for about $8 when i replaced mine.

if its not the fuel i read somewhere here that it could be deprived of air is that possible?

It could be air. It could be fuel. Without going thru a real diagnostic routine, its impossible to say.

Start with the spark plugs. Their condition should give some hint of if the bike is running rich or lean

can you tell me what to look for when i pull out the spark plugs? to see if its running rich or lean? im tryna learn everything i can before pulling stuff out of it lol

that white plastic bit is the fuel filter. check to see if its clogged up with crap.
replace if needed, they are only a few quid.
