Default First CBR got questions:

97 CBR 600 F3

is there a fuel pump? i keep reading that its vacuum ran or pump ran... I would like to know for definite.

How tight is your chain supposed to be?

is it normal to run at 7k rpm in 6th at 70 mph?

is it normal to run out of gas at 130 miles?

there is a fuel pump stock, if your bike doesn't have one, I would personally install one.

chain click link ( .: Motorcycle Chain Maintenance | Canyon Chasers Motorcycle Sport Touring :. ) really good write up there

7k at 70mph, I believe you my friend have aftermarket sprockets. that's not too bad though, I'm down 1 in front and up 2 in rear and mine hangs around 8.5k at that speed, which is really about 85mph or so on my speedo (I don't have a speedohealer yet )

130 is about normal, thats not off too bad. anywhere from 120 to 150 miles on a tank is good. if your do have aftermarket gears this is really good.
