Finally got front wheel off the ground!!!

RE: Finally got front wheel off the ground!!!
How hard are wheelies on the front tire/fork? I've done them on pavement on dirt bikes for a bit, screwing around with the clutch and stuff but it always seems to slam down hard, I'm not interested in replacing my forks from the wheelie beat down. Also any idea if a 600 can pull up me and a passenger, if I ever get that good of course =)

I did what I think was my best one so far in the 2 months I've been riding the bike. Just a quick roll of-roll on from about 15mph, only got the wheel up about 5-6in probably and only carried it about 10 ft, but it still felt cool and was good enough for me lol. Im still too much of a ***** to try anything bigger since I dont have the cash to fix the thing if I dump it

Did an even better one today, came up way more than I expected for some reason, kinda caught me off guard and scared me for a second, but it felt friggin cool lol Probably got it up about a foot, but didnt carry it more than 5 feet because I wasnt expecting it. Still getting used to it, but definitely getting more comfortable. And to think I swore off ever doing wheelies when I first bought it Although I can say I will probably never attempt a stand up or anything above a first gear popper, just dont feel the desire really.

Wheelies are fine for your bike. Just slip the clutch, dont power wheelie, and easy coming down on the forks. Try to time yourself to give the bike alittle gas before the front tire comes down or youll be replacing fork seals. Use the clutch, dont be a ****ing squid.
