Default fairings

HONDA CBR 600 F3 CBR600 F3 95-98 UPPER FAIRINGS UF41 | eBay

bought a set not too long ago and just got a chance to attempt to install them this weekend. and the neither the holes for the fairing stay, or the tabs that bolt it to the frame line up.

Has anyone else had experience with these? or have any advice as to what i should do?

as a side note: i did contact the seller before purchase, and he stated 'it fits properly', meaning that it should bolt right up.
already contacted them about it, still waiting on a reply.

any info/help would be greatly appreciated.

It is not uncommon for aftermarket fairings needing modifications to properly fit (it is actually more likely than not that some adjustments will need to be made). I have never purchased these fairings, or any aftermarkets for that matter but it is very common.

A quick google search will probably answer all of your questions; from what I have gathered you may just want to get a drill ready to fab the holes that need to be fab'd. No big deal, I am sure what the seller meant by 'it fits properly' was that they do indeed fit, they just may not have taken care of all the holes for you...

Best of luck!

well i figured that i would have to do some adjustments, but with how far off it is any adjustments would just break it.

this is with the front of it flush with the headlight plastic and it lined up with the two holes on the stay.
about an inch off.

That's definitely a pic I'd send to the seller; that looks off in soo many ways. Not only is it not reaching where it needs it looks way to high on the tank, it's all supposed to be flush...

after some messing around with it, finally got it to work, just have to open up the holes for the stay.
