Default fairing question

this has probably been asked before but i couldn't find my answer. will a 97 f3 tail fit on a 95 f3, any mods needed other than the tail light needs to be replaced. also where is the best place to buy them for cheap or is the stuff on ebay decent enough to use, im actually going to ossibly do the line-x thing on it. thank you.

yeah dude the line-x looks really sweet. are you going to take them to a place to get them painted or are you going doing it yourself?

Just a heads up prn, i think the seats are different too. 95-96 uses one type and 97-98 uses another.

correct.
when i moved to the 97-98 tail from my 96,
there is a seat gap,
(but it still fit)
and the light and tail bracket are different as well.

when i put them on, i had to remove the whole plastic underneath
(turn signals and all)
because it rubbed the taillight so much it wouldn't fit right.

i have a few threads back showing how i did it and what i did to resolve this.

the seat is optional (mine still has the 96 on it and looks weird but fine)
but you will need the tail light and bracket of a 97 as well.
might be a good time to throw in a fender eliminator, or make your own like i did.

ebay has some of the best deals you will come across,
just throw the links up on here before you buy so we can look and A-ok it.
my whole conversion (excluding fairings) was under 30 bucks for the parts.

best of luck.
