A friend of mine just bought a set of fairing off ebay and he cracked on of them while he was putting them on. I think they are kind of brittle. I bought my new fairings from nice cycle you pay a bit more for them but they seem to be ok. They also send you a free windscreen. http://www.nicecycle.com/ You can also pick any color scheme from any bike. So if you have a honda and you like the color scheme from the r1 they can make it happen. This gives you a bigger choice on your fairings.
