Yea it was very strait forward, almost all the cost was the fairings so I figured if I'm getting a new set it might as well be for the new tail, just the fairings, seat, and tail light and bracket. All in all I spent about $100 for everything not including the fairings and it all bolted up

Hopefully they do line up real well, but be prepared for some effort to get there. What are you using for a windscreen? That whole front cowling and upper fairing stay is where most aftermarket fairings present challenges.

As I noted earlier in the thread, it was huge effort for me to get a an acceptable fit, and even then, I'm not satisfied.

I'm moving toward the tail now….or maybe I should have a beer instead.

Id go with the beer first then go for the tail just in case u get hung up at least ull be in a good mood

a smoked out wind screen came with the kit along with a tank cover. not a bad deal
they guarantee the fitment i think they get them from overseas and put the holes in at their shop im sure itll be a bit of a hassle moslty worried about doing the upper fairings around the headlight because that seems like it could be a pain

Its a huge pain, And you will notice huge gaps that you can not get rid of. Good luck though I tried to warn you as everyone tried to warn me. I guess it's one of those mistakes you have to make yourself instead of learning from others.

The new fairings came in and i installed them on the bike they all fit pretty well only a small problem that the right upper fairing has about a half inch gap by the headlight but its not even noticeable unless your real close and looking for it. all in all they fairings worked out great

That 1/2" would do my head in mate, they should make the damn things to fit exactly as they should.

Yea 1/2 inch is pretty huge, my set has a small gap by the headlight but it's maybe 1/8 at the biggest, are you bolting the nose fairing to the left and right uppers behind the cluster? I didn't even realize there were bolt holes there until I had to get my nose gaps to close

you sure you measured that gap correctly? 1/2" is a lot. I've got roughly 1/8" to the right of my headlamp and that's about the best I can get it.

I'll post the promised pictures of my finished project if I can figure out how to get my Mac to upload the photos.
