I've got a kinda beat up '95 F3 and both the tach & temp gauge are messed up. I'm looking to swap out the stock cluster with the nicer (and partially digital!) F4i one but I can't find any info on how to actually do it. All the info I can find is that I'll need a 98-99 900rr temp sensor. I've found a bunch of threads about this specific swap but no info on how to do any of it. ALSO, if there's a cheaper, easier route than the F4i one, I just want something digital. Any help on this is much appreciated, Thanks!

 

the swap is pretty straight forward, yes you'll need a 900rr temp sensor. dig through those threads that you found, there will be a wire color chart that'll help.
you can adapt any digital gauge that you'd like, but the f4i swap is well documented, and if you can solder(please dont use butt splices) its pretty easy.
