F3 vs F2 rear wheel differences
Hey folks,
My first post here and I have an odd question...
I'm building a supermotard and have purchased F2 wheels that I'll be machining to fit my XR650L dual sport. The problem is this, I know EXACTLY what measurements are required for the machining of an F3 wheel, but not for the F2 wheel. If I knew the following measurements of the F3 rear wheel, I would have my problems solved:
[ol][*]width of rim = 5.0"[*]width of hub side to side = ?[*]diameter of hub on each side = ?[*]bearing size each side = ?[*]offset of hub to rim face each side = ?[*]similar measurements of cush drive = ?[/ol]
If anyone out there knows this I'd be eternally grateful. If you don't I'd gladly pay you to take some measurements for me. Post up or PM whichever.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

RE: F3 vs F2 rear wheel differences
ok, so I hope you do not need super rediculously accurate readings...
[/align][ol][*]width of hub side to side = 160 mm[*]diameter of hub on each side = 167 mm drive, 143 mm brake (tapered)[*]bearing size each side = 47 mm brake, 46 mm drive (quite possibly same size for each side)[*]offset of hub to rim face each side = 5mm on each side (note, this is from the hub, not from the place where the bearings seat into - those protrude outside the plane of the rim - 3mm brake, 12 mm drive)[*]similar measurements of cush drive = 5mm[/ol]
Sure hope this helps. Sorry I can't give you a huge level of accuracy...

RE: F3 vs F2 rear wheel differences
I think they are the exact same. They are interchangable, I have an f3 rear on an f2 frame, and it dropped right in using the same spacers. The spacers are the same part numbers as well on f2 and f3 rear wheels.
I'm no expert, and I have the old f2 wheels in the garage, so I will measure them in the morning for you if you need it still
