I am about to pull my hair out on this one. I just replaced the R/R with the FH012 R/R using the instructions that came with the Regulator and everything seemed to go smooth. Bike starts up and idles perfect around 2k RPM's throttles good but when I took the bike out for a ride I noticed the problem. When the bike gets to about 6k RPM's it starts loosing power and slowing down like the front brakes are in all the way. When I pull the clutch in the RPM's drop all the way down to under 1k then come back up. The bike has a brand new fuel pump so I don't see that as the problem. I put new gas in 91 octane. Everything ran good till the stock R/R would not charge the batt and the bike died. Please need help Thanks

 

I figured it out. when I put the gas tank back on it disconnected the air hose going to the valve assembly.
