there is plenty of room in the housing for 55w, although I myself went with the 35W 6k and its plenty bright. the F3's use a Hi/Lo H4 bulb.

Here is a link to the write up I did on installing them F3 HID Install

i run the 55w 6000k kit on my f2. The 55w kits drown out some of the blue in the 35w equivalent. It is pure white once it warms up (~45 secs.) really good light out of it. I would think 8000k would have some blue, but not be too bad that way.

None - the 55w kit only pulls about 6 amps at startup, which is nothing to an electrical system.

I did the hi/low setup so I wouldn't loose highbeam. All day long I run highbeam.

Nothing is different with the bulb in the Hi/lo kit, but the base of the bulb pivots to hide a portion of the bulb when you flip it to low - simulating the decrease in output.

I have fitted 35w 4300k on my 2004 600RR, thye look awesome & the lighting is brilliant, my son has 35w 6000k on his 2009 Hornet, they look brilliant but I think the lighting on the road is not as good as my bike.

Well worth fitting HID's IMO !!

I took a video , but it sucked.

what housing are you using for this? i assume it's a modded housing, probably projectors? wouldn't there be a heat issue in the stock housing?
