Springs...you're right, theydon't wear out....they do take a "set", which some would argue is bad....but its not a big deal. You might get different ones to have the right spring rate for your weight....if you are under 200#....I'd leave them
The stock spring rate isn't ideal for aggressive riding if you're over 140 lbs (with riding gear), not 200. So even though springs don't wear out, most riders of the western world would need new springs if they want to ride this bike the way it was intended. Ideally, this would also warrant changing valving as well since springs and valves work hand-in-hand.
Opps...my bad....I was thinking my zx6r springs (I was in the middle of rebuilding those) Badfish is right about the weight....wow... .67kg springs according to race tech....
Just springs will only help reducing bottoming....if you track your bike and are good on the brakes...being over the springs ideal, you mightuse up all the travel in the front end just from weight transfer, and not have anything left for pavement imperfections. You can raise oil level as a bandaid, but it adds harshness to the end of the stroke since its a progressive effect.
