F3 to F4 conversion
If I order a fairing kit for a F4 whats needed to make the whole kit fit? Im guessing I need the stay bracket for the front fairing but would this be smart to do or should I just get my f3 fairing kit? Any suggestions any1
I googled this and I did a search on this site but maybe Im putting in wrong search words or something.....because nothings coming up. I obviously need the headlights but is there any welding or molding involved?

it all depends on whatever is easier for you. most of us that have done a swap did the f4i front end...in which you will need the front fairing stay and headlight plus a fairly small amount of metal and some time on your hands. no welding involved with the front end. there is a thread by a member here named demented f3 who did a very good write up. I'm not sure how to highlight a link but I do believe if you search "my guide to swapping f4i fairings to your f2-f3" it should come up....the thread helped me a lot when i did mine
Im in the process of painting and sourcing my last tail pieces etc for the swap, however I was wondering if I have to purchase the F4i front fairing stay or if I can get away with using the stock f3 one.
Can I just bend the f3 one slightly and drill new holes etc to use the f3 upper stay?
does anyone have pictures comparing the two stays?
