Put 100 miles on the fairings last night.

It was good to finally get some real miles on this conversion to know what needs to be adjusted and if I needed more mounting points.

My digital Chinese speedo didn't work well, everything worked fine except the speed and odometer. Leaving my driveway I was doing 185 mph lol.
And in 100 miles my odometer only registered 4 lol.

You either have a really ling driveway or did a great job tuning those carbs.

It is looking good. Always a lot of satisfaction in getting out on the road after you've had her apart.

Took some time off from the bike, had a vacation up north with the family.

Got home to find my new headlights.

I'm pretty much done working on it for the rest of this season, I wanna enjoy it before the weather is over.
but in the off-season
Paint
Tires
Brakes
Trimming wires
Subframe chopped
Projector headlights

I'd like to get that abs plastic and do a dash area for the gauge to mount on and hide wires better.
I'll probably do that before the season ends.

Also still need a mid pipe for my exhaust.

The Chinese gauge cluster probably would have worked fine for me but hooked to my speed sensor I was reading 100mph to fast all the time and the stock speed sensor you mount to your wheel didn't work (they are sending a new one).

So I was searching eBay for speedo healers figure I'll fix the Chinese one and got lucky and nabbed this f4i cluster for $65.

My abs plastic I ordered to mount works pretty well, I think I'm going to order a larger sheet and actually make something real clean looking with it.
but for now I've got a proper speedometer with close to the same milage.
