wondering if a clutch basket from a 93 F2 will work in my 96 F3

 

I was looking in the parts manuals and it seems that for each successivenew year of the F2 and then F3 the Clutch (Outer) as it's called in the manual seemed to be backward compatible. But it doesnt' seem that they were saying that the older models would work in newer year bikes. I'd check with a dealer to be sure.
