extended swing arm
Extended swingarms and fat tires are not what sport bikes are for. They are supposed to be quick and nimble. It will effect the handling of the bike. Unless you are having trouble keeping the front end on the ground (which I don't think is a problem) I wouldn't do it. If you are plannnig to sink some $$ into it and show it, then clean it up and make it what you want. For a daily rider, not worth it. (Just my opinion)
IMO it's personnal taste. Their are those who like the extended and lowered look, and those who want to keep it just the way it is. Then I think it's where you live. You may live in a state that has nothing but twisties, and hills or a state with nothing but long, straight, flat, roads. Of course, if you are lucky enough to live in a twistie state, it would be in your best interest not to extend or lower the bike at all. But, if you are like me, and live in a state thats nothing but straight and flat for miles and miles, go for it and extend it. But again, it's personnal taste. My bike is extended and I love it. I get a ton of compliments on how it looks. Will I ever go do a track day with it like that? Maybe not. But, line me up on that 1/4 mile strip.........C-YA!
