Default exhaust compatibility?

Hi there,
i'm new to this forum..i wanna ask a question..I've a 98 CBR6 F3.I'm looking for aftermarket exhaust..Do i get the type that are specifically meant for the F3's??
Is the F3's exhaust mounting compatible to the F4 or the F4i??Any suggestion on the models available?I do mind getting a used ones too..heheh[&:]
Wat are the restriction if i have an aftermarket exhaust but running with stock jettings??wat are the consequenses??
Thanx for any input given...

You will want an F3 specific exhaust. Generally a slip on will run o.k. with you current carb jets but will run better if jetted. A full system will demand you rejet.

I have a 97 f3 and i run a leo vinci pipe. I just slipped it on and fell in love! I didn't have to jet the bike or anything.

Down here in Singapore the specific pipe for F3 is limited..plus it cost a bomb..& not forgetting u'll be in hot soup with the Men in blue..so i don have much choice here..been looking thru online..most of em..looks great but i can't tell the sound..so i only have to based on people's review online..
Abt the jettin's i'll keep that in check..[]
