Default engine ID numbers

can anyone tell me where the ID numbers are on a 1996 cbr 600 f3 engine would be? I want to cross reference the numbers to see if its atleast the same year as my bike.My bike claims 37k on the clock, but it does does not run like 37k. Thanks in advance.

On the right side of the donk, just behind the clutch cable lower adjuster.

Wow, I got that from a web site over 10 years ago. They only had US based models in their system. They have not been online for many years. If there is a local Honda dealer near you, they should be able to provide the information from their systems.
