Default 08 NUMBERS ?????

So we have all seen the grotesk pictures to include the shorty side pipe. but has honda put out some amazing numbers with this new model. Post em up if you know: 1/4 mile times, HP TQ numbers, 0-60 0-100, 100-0, 60-0. weight. and if anyone knows about any new mechanical techknowledgy they put into them.

Check the other threads for the link to factory specs. I don't think there are 0-60, 0-100, or independant tests yet.

Cool thanks for the link but it says nothing about traction control, justadding a slipper clutch. Unless I missed, damn the kawis got traction control.

There is no traction control on the 08, just a different type slipper clutch.
I agreewith you on the price of the black/metallic grey, should not be an extra charge for acommon color.

What I don't understand is why they are making that particular color limited edtion. That color is the exact colorthey offered us, for the original price, on the black/metallic grey 07 CBR.

What makes it so limited? Just the fact they are making only 500 of them and charging us more.

Give me and all black one like my 06, and no extra charge please. JMO

I just noticed something comparing pictures.

I will pay the extra for the limited edition one.
Honda powder coated the front and rear pegs on the limited edition bike only. Yippie

I was going to do that anyway. I have a friend that's done it to my bike and a few of my friends bikes and it looks really good. Tired of all the chrome s***.

The cost my friend charges is $200.00, but I have to take it all off and put it back together, especially bleeding the rear brake, very time consuming.

Factory paint and less labor for me for $200.00. I'll pay it. That alone is worth the extra charge.
