Hell I'm sure my R/R is out so I went ahead and found one on Ebay. Hopefully it will work.

It's a 2005 GSXR 600/750 R/R.
Here is the auction...

$51 total. Hopefully it will work. If it's not the problem that is hopefully 1 less thing to worry about.

I would do the test but it will be a bit before my buddy can get to my house to play with my multimeter and I'm going on a 5day Motorcycle trip to Deal's Gap on April 2ndand don't want to be screwed out of it. So I'm going to do this in hopes it's the R/R.

yeah dude if you bought the gixxer one it'll work like a charm----I replaced that bad boi and havne't had a problem yet....also it stays way cooler...rather large but it fits where the old RR did without any problems at all and hides well behind the tail fairings. So hook it up soder it, shrink wrap it, and forget about it!

Well I just bought one off ebay, looks almost like the stock one. Brand new only $35 shipped, so we'll see how it works for me.

Any significant upside to using a gixxer one as opposed to a cbr replacement??

I have the gixxer one as well. I have had no problems and there are definate advantages. The gixxer rr like said above stays way cooler, i could feel the heat coming off of the old cbr rr. You also don't have to replace it every 6 months to a year lol

Okay. I got mine in the mail today and just put it on. I have crimp connectors for now but I needed it to semi-work so I can get to my buddy's house a little ways away who has a Soder gun and can soder like crazy(Raced Eletric R/C cars for 20+ years).

But everything is 10x better. I'll get some holes drilled and the CPU grease someone mentioned earlier.

Thanks for the info guys.
