Does anyone know if the downpipes off of a 93 F2 will fit on to a 97 F3? I have founds some stainless steel ones going cheap. If they do fit would it effect anything on my bike i.e. perfomance.

they should fit....many aftermarket pipes listed all the F2/3 years as one part number....check a brand like Hindle to confirm

The manifold brackets are different ithink. Most of the older and newer models have four brackets, whereas the 97 to 98 has two brackets over four ports. I bought a set of SS downpipes for my 98 f3 and only 97 to 98 ones would fit. When you do get them they look amazing and add a tingle to the sound. I got a custom set done for £180.
