Yea I am planning on stripping the bike down this winter, taking off the decals, and getting it painted. I need a new rear tire and investment in frame sliders as well. Ball park for price on painting the whole bike?

I would fix and paint it yourself... I laid my bike down just like you. I fixed the plastics up myself and used orielly auto parts duplicolor paint. It was easy to spray and turned out well. If you don't want to do it yourself just buy the hong kong fairings and do some adjustments to them so they fit right.

doesn't look bad at all... i think cheapest option is to find a painter (preferably a mate or a mates mate, or a mates mates mate.. just to get it cheap you get the idea) and re paint that side of the fairing... i'm painting my bike for only 250$ (FULL respray, full white with gloss) im getting a little off topic here but the point is re spray that side and try to find a cheap painter that will do it good

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you do have holes in your fairings. Look closer at the lower part of your fairing. You have a hole where a bolt in the right engine casing pressed through from the inside.

yea i noticed that the other day. Kind of a bummer.

I also heard to stay away from hong kong fairings for that reason, the poor fitment.

that hole is still fixable real easy, one patch of fibergrass, spot filler and you're all done...
