Default D-head tool for carbs?

I wanted to do a good cleaning for the carbs since I haven't since I've owned this bike. I just realized that I guess I need this "special" D head tool to take apart my carbs and clean them. Dealer said they don't sell that seperate. I would have to buy a jet kit or some $100 factorytool. Is this true!? Anything I can fab that would work? Suggestions.

Thanks in response!
