Coolant

Can i use car coolant in my motorcyle....? i need to know because all the bike stores are close today and a mechanic is goin to take a look at it today....

Yeah car coolant is fine. Prestone or zerex, something of that nature.

In an earlier thread i found that the coolant shouldn't have alcohol or silicate inhibitors....

You can buy the prestone pre-mixed stuff. If you buy pure coolant then yes you will have to have 50% coolant and 50% distilled water in your mixture.
