2.5 grand seems exceptionalto me, it must be pretty much top price for a steel-frame CBR. Mine would be lucky to bring half that, but yours was low mileage and in excellent condition. You'll be in a good position to try all sorts, ride a few and see what you like. The GSXRs and Ninjas are all good bikes as well. My mate's Daytona is one of these, I reallly liked it.
