Choice on spark plugs
hello all. im about to do a tune up on my 96 f3. I am an automotive service writer/mechanic. just got into the 2 wheel world not too long ago. i was just wondering if the spark plug choices are as broad for bikes as it is for cars, and from personal experiences, which ones work best or are sworn by.
thanks
(sorry if this has been a topic heavily covered, but i did a search and came up with nothing but people saying their bike wont start)

Heres the stock plugs that came from the factory. either will do. lotta guys on the forum use the NGK's. they are pretty much the standard plug. I use them on my older honda as well.
NGK-CR9EH9
DENSO-U27FER9
NGK-CR9EH9
DENSO-U27FER9
ive fist hand put over 20 plugs in my bike this year alone probably more.
im weird like that.
NGK's, the original cr9eh-9
and the iridiums cr9ehix-9
and i can notice the difference.
now i wont go as far as to say archiving them will do much, however the iridiums woke my bike up with my jet kit.
my bike didn't like any other plugs after the jet kit till iridiums.
as far as difference goes aside from my bike,
they are shaped differently, foul less because of it,
and have a better tip that reduces the chance of flooding and should it come to that, allows an easier cleanup due to their tip shape.
there have been people who told me that iridiums dont last as long,
however ive got over 55,000 on my f3, and my iridiums have outlasted them all.
personally through trial and error,
the iridiums will run you about 8 bucks a pop or so,
and will be with every penny.
