Heres the pics of what I was thinking. The 2 on top might be hard to get at because of the seat. I dont know. This project is temp. on the back burner. Tomorrow is my Daughter's 1st B-Day so I will be busy. Also I went & ordered 2 sprockets & a chain today, so now I am pretty broke. I went with a -1,+2 setup, wont have the parts till monday. Thanks on that tail-light link, that is the best one I have looked at so far. Oh yeah, I bought the tail piece off ebay (roadrashracing).....

Managed to find time to play with this, thought i would add to this post. Everything fits pretty well. With the exception of the "tab" on the left side side, it hangs about an inch lower than the hole (right side is perfect). It is just sitting on the bike in pics...just messing with it, chain & sprockets will be here tomorrow...

Sorry guys, I feel like an idiot....The left side is fine...I had my lower fairing off to put the new chain & sprocket on...It lines up with the hole where the black plasic screw type fastner goes (i dont know the proper term for it). I will have to find a couple nice screws & 2 nuts & it should be fine....

for what it is worth, here is what i did for my F3 and my Hayabusa. since the tail light has 2 bulbs, i picked up a 3-2 trailer converter, and wired it up like in the a trunk of a car. then, wired each light - left and right. to divide the lense, and since the F3's lense cant come off, i used my jig saw and cut a slot in the back of the housing between the light socket holes about 1/8" wide. i had some resin type paneling, and cut a piece the right height for the light housing, then inserted it and cut the inside end to match the contour of the lense. this took a while to get it right, but, after the coutour was right, i inserted the piece for the last time and epoxied it into the housing. there fore, it is water tight, and wont come out. so, now i have a integrated light for the cost of a trailer converter and an hour of my time. the other benefit that i looked at was that the lights are DOT. For the busa, i removed the lense, and did the same procedure, but it was easier to cut the contour to the lense. i then epoxied the piece into the lense housing from the outside, so no fear at all of water leaks. I think this looks just as good, or better than the after market lights, and they are brighter and cheaper to replace - espicially on the road. My wife thinks that i am cheap, but it leaves more money for other things that i cant do....
