The rim that I have on mine is actually bent in compaired to yours and it works okay. If I slow down at a high speed (50mph+) and let go, I get a tank slapper every time. It's nothing that will explode in your face, but it is going to be noticable. I would just ride it as it is until you find a good replacement. Be careful on ebay becuse most people there are just selling the same time that you have unless it goes for over $250. Be sure that the sell conferms that the rim is true and within at least a +-.01 tollerance. there was an F3 rim for sale here not too long ago that was well worth the $75 that he was askin. I'd snatched it up if I wasn't so damn broke!

you can have that fixed . thats not bad i had about 3 of those on my front rim n i rode my bike like that for about a year before i took it to a rim shop n they fixed it . there is a guy named will in sc who fixes rims i will try to get his site you can send it to him he will fix n ship back rims are pricey have it fixed .

Pointman, I am still running the same rim that I was talking about...please post the link that your refurring to. I looked into fixing and couldn't get a quote under $200 not including shipping.

+2 on fixing it, I had a rim that had a big chunk missing and it was also bent over it self and this guy that lives around here fixed it for $30 and after i painted it you couldnt even tell were he fixed it

well i dont have a link but i do have the guys # an addy you ship him the wheel he fixes it n covers the shippin cost back it should run you no more than 100 thats with shippin to fix that lip
