Changed ICM and now tach/speedo/tail lights aren't working
Hey guys. I got a 1996 CBR600f3 from my cousin, all I had to do was fix it up and it was mine for the taking. Most mechanical issues are taken care of for now but the electrical issues are giving me a run for my money. My regulator went out on me a couple weeks ago, so we replaced that to find out (after hours and hours of frustration) that the regulator had fried the ICM as it was going down. So, I went and replaced that too, but now my tachometer and speedometer are completely non-functional. We've checked fuses (several times) and we've looked at the connections and didn't find anything that caught my attention as being wrong.
Does ANYONE have any clue as to what it could be?

After more testing, it looks like my tachometer was fried by the failing regulator. I don't see any signs of fried components on it or the speedo. I'm getting a signal from the ICM but no movement on the needle. We believe that the speed sensor failed too, since we got no pulse when moving the wheel.
Could a failing regulator actually fry an ICM, Tach, speedo, speed sensor, and melt the filaments in a light bulb, as well as melt some of the solder on the headlights??? All at once???
