CDI Interchangability
Hi all,
I've got a 1996 CBR600F3 that needs a new CDI box. The unit that I have says MALA US 973G 5519. I know that the 5519 is a date code but my question is if a CDI box that is stamped with MALG A 973V, is that interechangable or do I need to use one with the same numbers as what is on the bike?

That’s not number you want, looks like some sort of manufacturing code, factory location or something. Actual Honda part# is 30410-MAL-671
The unit with MALG A 973V is for 97-98 F3 with different carb jetting.
