Can anybody please help. I have recently required a CBR600 F3.
I have fitted the carb with a complete new carb kit and replaced the fuel pump.

My problem is when I push my start button I have no spark. When I release my push button I have a quick spark.

Can somebody help please?

 

Is your battery charged

 

Are you saying that while you are pressing the starter, the bike turns over, but does not start and as you release the starter button it momentarily fires and then dies? Or, did you ground out one of the plugs and observed it while turning the bike over?

Did the bike run when before you did the work?

Thanks, I have found the fault. Battery was faulty. I have replaced the battery with new one, and problem solved.
