Default Cbr600 1997 help

Hi all,
im new on here and would like some advise if thats possible.

i have a 1997 cbr600 road bike which im converting to a track bike use only, so obviously im trying to lighten the load on the engine as much as possible, i once had another track cbr600 which had a mod done to remove the charging system so it ran totally on the battery and it reved up real nice, unfortunatley i dont know what was removed to do this.
but basically want to do the same remove as much as possible from the engine, also noticed the pipes on the engine area resembe a plate of spagetti, loads there surely some of them can go ?

anyway guys sorry i dont want much !!!!
but any help would be brilliant, the engine is stock and would like to keep it that way as much as possible

thanks again for any help
Kind regards Phill

remove the charging system? all you had for the charging system was a magnet revolving around a bounch of copper wire coils. doubt there was any benefit there.
